Yr12 art trip to the Anselm Kiefer exhibition at the White Cube Gallery
On Thursday 13th July the Yr12 artists visited the Anselm Kiefer exhibition at the Bermondsey White Cube Gallery. His work is very gritty, dark and powerful but with an element of renewal and the cycle of life. They saw his vast paintings laden with paint some embedded with clothing and sunflowers. His enormous books made of led and golden paintings of rivers plus Kiefer's vast collection of weird and wonderful 'stuff'!
This is well worth a visit if you are looking for something to see in London this summer holidays.
