Open Afternoon/Evening for Year 7 Entry 2016-17
Our open day was on Thursday 25th June.  Before applying please check our Admissions Policy 2016-17. Application forms can be downloaded from the Admissions page and must be completed and returned to the School by the end of Tuesday 7th July 2015. Successful applicants who have met our entry criteria will then be invited for the Entrance Test on Friday 11th September 2015.
N.B. The results of the test will be sent to you in the week beginning 19th October. Please remember that, if you then decide to proceed with your application, you must then include St. Michael's on the Common Application Form submitted to your Local Education Authority (closing date 31st October 2015).
Exam Results 2015 - A-Level: 89% A*/B grades; GCSE 87.1% A*/A grades

Congratulations to all of our Yr 13 students who have done so well this summer. With 89% of all entries awarded at A* to B they should all move onto their chosen university courses with confidence. A detailed breakdown will be provided in September. Also, Well Done Yr 11 on excellent GCSE results.

Student Success 2015

We are delighted that so many of our Year 13 students have been offered places at top universities. Over 85% of offers are at Russell group universities which is a record high for the School. This comes on top of the 12 students with offers from Oxford and Cambridge (Read More>>). Other students have gained entry to top Art Colleges whilst others have been successful in gaining offers to Medical schools. Congratulations for all the independent study undertaken by so many of our students in order to gain such offers. We wish all Year 13 students every success in achieving their offer grades in the Summer exams. May they always seek to uphold Christian values in all that they do.

St Michael’s is a lovely school. I have been at St Michael’s since 1988, first as Assistant Headteacher, then Deputy Headmaster in 1990 and from September 2012 as Headmaster.
