Exam Results 2015 - A-Level: 89.4% A*/B grades; GCSE 86.7% A*/A grades

Congratulations to all of our Yr 13 students who have done so well this summer. With 89% of all entries awarded at A* to B they should all move onto their chosen university courses with confidence. A detailed breakdown will be provided in September. Also, Well Done Yr 11 on excellent GCSE results.

Student Success 2016

Now that we are approaching the 2016 Summer public exams we are pleased that so many of our Year 13 students have been offered places at top universities. Over 84% of offers are at Russell group universities; 9 of these are at Oxbridge Other students have gained entry to top Art Colleges as well as other good universities. Congratulations to all of our students who are about to progress further in their chosen field of study/career choice. We wish all Year 13 students every success in achieving their offer grades in the Summer exams.

Pupils in the news include ex-pupil Madeleine Badcott who is now president of the Oxford women's boat club and winning team member for the second year in a row. Also, Lois Joel in Year 12 who was selected to play for England in this summer's European Under 17 Championships in Serbia.

St Michael’s is a lovely school. I have been at St Michael’s since 1988, first as Assistant Headteacher, then Deputy Headmaster in 1990 and from September 2012 as Headmaster.
